Eligibility   

  • Eligible Countries: Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident, or an international student.
  • Eligible Course or Subjects: PhD degree in developing miniaturized peripheral nerve interface technology.
  • Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the following criteria:
  • Be an Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident, or an international student meeting the minimum English language requirements.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary research team.
  • Meet RMIT’s entry requirements for PhD.

REQUIREMENTS
Supporting Documents: 
The students are required to present the following documents to the university:

  • A cover letter (research statement)
  • A copy of electronic academic transcripts
  • A CV that includes any publications awards and the contact details of 2 referees.

Admission Requirements:                      Applicants must hold first-class honors or equivalent in relevant bioengineering or electrical engineering discipline.

Language Requirement:                     International applicants must provide evidence of good oral and written communication skills.

Benefits

The RMIT University will provide $32,714 per annum for a student stipend (Total for a 3.5-year term = $114,500 up to 3 years with a possibility of extension to 3.5 years.
